On October 18th we held our 2020 Fall Symposium at Cantigny Park in Wheaton. Our guest speaker was our very own Dayle Saar, PhD. She is an professor at Murray State University in the Department of Biological Sciences. Her presentation topic was “Life in the Cold: How Plants Adapt to Winter”.
Since we were limited on how many people could attend due to the pandemic, I attempted to record Dr. Saar’s presentation to make it available to those members who were unable to attend. Dr. Saar’s presentation was extremely informative.
Unfortunately, my first attempt at recording an event was not as successful as I had hoped. Regardless, we are making this presentation available to you. The recording is dark and the sound quality could be better, not to mention the camera stopped recording and missed the final few minutes. Hopefully I will learn from my mistakes. It is our hope to record future presentations and make them available through our website.
I hope you will enjoy Dr. Saar’s presentation. Please click on the link below
